The accountabilities will depend on which team in Actuarial Services the person is working. Examples are: • Take responsibility for the production of policy calculations delegated in relation to policyholder enquiries coming into Actuarial Support. • To ensure that all policy data requirements for statutory Actuarial reporting and further actuarial analyses are met through detailed investigation and analysis • To assist in the financial management and planning of the company by carrying out investigations into the projected future experience of the company • To assist the Product Actuary in supporting the actuarial aspects of the company’s products and in complying with regulatory requirements. • Use initiative and judgment to make decisions with reference to general actuarial principles as well as the controls and guidelines in force.
