The role will be a varied one supporting the Chief Actuary and working as part of a small team. There will be a large element of capital and solvency II related work, next to no reserving, some involvement in pricing and definitely involvement in other initiatives such as M&A projects. Capital modelling experience and an awareness of Solvency II will be a big advantage, as would familiarity with GLM type pricing work and personal/small commercial lines.
