consultancy environments. This gives us a unique position in the actuary market and enables us to provide employers with a high quality service.
Andy Clark FIA, BSc
Managing Director
Andy has been working in the actuarial profession for 15 years, starting out on the life side for 5 years before moving into non-life. After a year out
to take part in the BT Global Challenge round the world yacht race, he joined Ernst and Young as a non life consultant before setting up The ARC with
Roger. Andy has extensive recruitment experience having been involved on the recruitment side with all of his employers.
Roger Massey FIA, MBA, BSc
Managing Director
Roger was a founding member of The ARC in 2004. He worked as an actuary for 13 years in companies and consultancies, starting out in a life
office before moving into GI in 1994. He was a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young and has had involvement with actuarial recruitment at all of his
employers, including responsibility for all recruitment into non life Actuarial Team at Ernst & Young. Roger's main interests lie around restoring and riding
motorcycles and watching any kind of racing.
Chris Cannon BA
Director
Chris is a part qualified actuary who worked for two major UK life offices in actuarial and transformation roles for 15 years. He then moved into
insurance consultancy for over 6 years, working with most of the major UK life insurers. He spent 3 years in recruitment before joining The ARC in
July 2006 to develop the Life and Pensions recruitment operation. Chris is a big sports fan although participation is limited these days to
running, cycling and golf.
